Barbershop Owner’s Daughter Uses Kitty Litter As A Face Mask For Customers

Nowadays, we all love to save money, especially with the prices of everything going up. Shopping the clearance rack, cutting coupons, and buying off-brands are all ways to keep a little extra money in your wallet.

If you enjoy hearing new ideas on how to save your money, Pelin Mathis has some interesting ideas that could be of some use.

TLC's YouTube channel shared a clip of an episode from its show Extreme Cheapskates, where we see Pelin Mathis give us an insight into her money-saving strategies.

Pelin works at a barbershop owned by her dad, Big Rob. He claims it was one of the best decisions he made having Pelin come and work for him. Since Pelin started working at Big Rob’s shop, she has collected all the hair that has been cut.

Pelin claims that she makes her dad save all the hair that he cuts because it saves her money. She uses the hair for fertilizer for the plants, and even stuffing for the cushions on the couch in the waiting area.

In the clip, we see Pelin prepare for a bridal party she is hosting, but instead of shopping at a normal beauty store, Pelin goes to a farm. We see her pick up Mane N Tail, a shampoo for horses, large tubs of petroleum jelly for cow udders, and a huge bag of kitty litter.

Palin claims that clay kitty litter has the same ingredients that you would find in a $200 clay face mask.

When the bridal party comes in, Pelin brings out finger sandwiches that she made with waffles and hot dogs, and Twinkies with strawberry jelly on top.

At the end of the video, we see Big Rob rubbing Pelin’s chocolate chip foot scrub on a client's foot and Pelin putting the kitty litter mask on another client, who said that it felt good!

I’m all for saving money, but I’m not sure if I would ever put kitty litter on my face. I might try the chocolate foot scrub, though!
