Parenting can be filled with unexpected twists and turns, and celebrities are no exception to this universal truth. Actress Kristen Bell found herself on the receiving end of an accidental injury caused by none other than her own daughter.
While the incident may have resulted in a nose injury, it also served as a reminder of the unpredictable and sometimes comical nature of parenthood. Kristen explains exactly what occurred and shows us the joys and challenges of raising children.
Kristen Bell took to social media to share the story of her daughter Delta’s accidental role in her nose injury. In the video that Kristin shared, she’s sitting in her glam chair getting ready for an event, but you can’t focus on anything but the huge red mark on her nose.
The (hilarious) caption says, “Minor jujitsu injury…took some teeth to the nose. Will recover. You should see the other guy! (She is 8, the fruit of my loins, and has big, sharp, buck teeth).” Kristen definitely confirms the fact that you’ve got to be able to laugh at all the unexpected parenting moments.
Kristen labeling this as a “minor jujitsu injury” isn’t only for the laughs. Martial arts classes have become a mother-daughter bonding experience in their household, and Kristen tells ET that it has brought them closer together.
Her reasoning for the group activity to be martial arts is that she wants her children to be fully aware of themselves and their surroundings when they leave their house. I am for sure following in this mama's footsteps!
