Teen Singer Blows The Judges Away On ‘The Voice Kids’

Whitney Houston's voice was one-of-a-kind, and most can't even come close to her talent. Yet many singers still attempt to cover her songs and unfortunately fall flat…most of the time.

But on rare occasions, the covers are magic, like the 12-year-old who even shocked Simon Cowell when she performed Houston's “I Have Nothing" on Britain’s Got Talent. And who could forget the time Sam Smith emotionally sang Houston's "How Will I Know" during a radio appearance?

The 13-year-old named Laura featured in the video below is another singer who faultlessly performed a Houston hit when she took the stage for her blind audition on The Voice Kids overseas. She performed "I Will Always Love You" and it only took seconds for two of the judges to turn around. The third followed shortly after.

When hearing the teen sing, it's seriously hard to believe she's so young. I mean, just wait for the big moment at 1:28! I'm sure you'll be blown away just the judges were.

"You're 13 years old. And you know this was the forbidden song. You're actually not allowed to sing this song because it is unsingable," judge Tim Bendzko told the young singer after her performance. "You just sang it sensationally. It was incredible."
