Whether you're into watching sports or avoid it like the plague, you're probably familiar with the Kiss Cam.
It can be a little awkward at times, especially for couples who are not particularly affectionate, or worse — who are in the middle of a fight. And if you're not with the person sitting next to you, it's definitely not the time to kiss a total stranger!
Imagine everyone watching you and your significant other on the big screen, waiting for the moment you kiss. Knowing there are thousands watching is enough for some couples to attempt only a quick peck on the cheek. Then they giggle nervously as the camera pans to another unfortunate couple.
After all, what are the odds of being picked for such an odd tradition?
Luckily, there's a new trend at basketball games all over the country that everyone can enjoy. Instead of the Kiss Cam, there's a Lion King Cam!
The camera focuses on parents and their young children or babies, and, at the sound of the Lion King theme song, they hoist the little ones into the air, just like in the movie.
It's definitely a trend we can get behind, especially when the babies are happy to be admired by thousands. Any enthusiastic parent is bound to make the crowd roar and cheer.
