During feeding at the Dierenrijk Zoo in the Netherlands, zookeepers put fresh meat in a barrel to keep the lions active.
The big cats tend to play with the barrel and horse around to get the food out.
One hungry lion decided to get his fair share of food and stuck his head in the entire barrel. The only problem is, with a mane that thick and robust, the kitty got his head stuck in it.
I can't help but think of the poor crane stuck in a tiger's den at the zoo. The little bird was just as anxious as this lion, but was saved by a staff member.
His lion friends try to help him out of the jam, but he's too flustered to accept any assistance.
When I was a kid, I made the mistake of putting my head through the bars on the staircase banister. It was nothing a little vaseline couldn't fix, but it was pretty distressing. I thought I was going to be stuck in that staircase for life.
