Little Boy Cuts Some Corners When Getting In His Afternoon Workout

It's never too early to start a healthy lifestyle and have an active approach to your days. The earlier kids learn to love the feeling of exercise and the way you feel when you eat healthy, the better. It's always easier to start off right than it is to get on the right track after a lifetime of bad choices.

Healthier children are happier children. We all know that! But sometimes, it can be hard to figure out how to get kids to start on that right track. One way is to get them hooked on a sport that offers hours and hours of fun for them. Not only will sports keep kids active, but they'll also provide opportunities for them to make lasting friendships, and teach them all about teamwork, good sportsmanship, and all of that good stuff that every little one should know.

But some kids are more prone to solo activities. That's totally fine! Some folks are just like that. If that's true, they might like a sport like distance running, golf, or perhaps weight lifting.

Of course, if a kid shows some interest in weight lifting, you'll have to supervise them closely and make sure that the weights he or she is using are of an appropriate amount of difficulty (like this mom below).
