A 10-year-old Cincinnati, Ohio, boy named Logan McGinnis wanted his own camera for years. Then, one day his mom surprised him with one as a gift. He has been using it ever since.
He was in Ault Park when he spotted a man and a woman who were just a bit overdressed for a normal stroll down the cement steps. The man named John MacArthur was in a dapper suit and his girlfriend, Valerie Volkman, was wearing a black evening gown.
Once Logan saw John get down on one knee, he started snapping some photos of the couple.
Later on, his mom realized what Logan had captured: Proposal pictures. Not only were they emotional, but they were well taken for a little 10-year-old. Logan's mom went to Facebook and posted the proposal pictures, hoping to track down the couple.
Luckily, it only took a day for John and Valerie to realized someone was searching for them. The engaged couple met up with their secret photographer and his mom to thank him personally.
In the video below, posted on March 3, 2017, John says, "They were on Facebook and I had also gotten an email from my coworker."
"Oh, a huge thank you, my gosh. These photos are just incredible. I think they're obviously some of my favorites. So, a big thank you to a very talented little kid," Valerie says with a warm smile.
