Even if you know for a fact that you have the right of way, it always pays to play it safe. This scary video proves that as a fact!
While the woman in this video was totally correct in her right to cross the road, another car came barreling through, nearly turning her day into a very bad one.
The car with the dash cam might very well have saved her life with a last-minute honk of his horn. He likely noticed the other car in his side mirror, and as this lady, oblivious to the danger, continued to walk? It must have really seemed as if he were about to witness someone being seriously injured!
Thankfully, the woman stopped at the last possible second and the car whizzed by her without slowing down for anything. It's almost as if the driver was distracted and didn't even notice the poor woman.
She probably saw her whole life flash before her eyes. And while it was certainly a horrific experience, we're happy that everyone ended up OK and safe. Hopefully this intense video will help spread the word to everyone that even though it might be your turn on the road, that doesn't mean other drivers know it!
So please, let's all drive safely from now on and look out for each other as much as possible!
