Cop Arrests Man While Couple Nearly Crashes Into His Car, Then He Freezes When He Sees The Wife

Mireya Lopez was confused when she started feeling pain in her stomach.

In the video below, posted on March 9, 2017, she explains, "I thought I was losing the baby or something, but I didn't know the baby was coming."

After realizing that Mireya was going into labor a month early, her husband Max rushed her to the car. They were scared and shaken up, but had to make it to the hospital.

The couple drove through Pheonix, Arizona, trying to locate a nearby hospital for their baby's delivery. Unfortunately, everything came to a screeching halt — quite literally.

The Lopezes crashed into another car on the road, but that wasn't the worst pitfall of all. They realized that they had almost hit a nearby police car as well. As if they weren't already in complete panic, the Lopezes grew even more anxious.

"I go, 'Oh man, I just hit a car and there's a police officer right there,'" Mireya recalls.

The police officer, Sean Muniz, had just placed a suspect into his vehicle after making an arrest. He approached the couple's car and realized Mireya was in labor.

He was left with an incredibly tough decision: He could either help Mireya and Max with their emergency delivery, or he could take the suspect into the station.
