Bryce Langston didn't want to be a slave to the "rent trap," anymore. He didn't want to keep paying more than half of his monthly income for property he would never own. But it's not like buying a house is a cheaper option. While many commenters think his idea is silly, crazy, or impractical. "I'd be scared to death of people easily robbing me if I were to live in this," one commenter said.
Before you judge the man who decided to live inside of a tent, it's worth it to check out the luxurious inside. Now, living out in the woods isn't for everyone. Still, I think we can appreciate those who do find the right lifestyle for themselves in this great, big chaotic world. Personally, I'd like to live like this for just a few months or a year and really put my wits, resources, and savvy to the test!
However, Langston's lotus tent is anything but a downgrade. The spacious tent contains a fully functional kitchen, bathroom, dining table, and huge bed. The lotus is also eco-friendly and most of it was built using recycled and secondhand materials.
