Chances are you don't remember their face or name, not because you weren't really paying attention, but because they didn't ever make an effort to get to know you!
Jon Held, the owner of Held Bus Service, isn't that type of bus driver. He goes above and beyond for the students he transports to and from school.
He makes their school days extra special and knows every child's name. He gives them hugs when they get off the bus in the morning and hugs before they get on the bus in the afternoon. The kids rush to jump into his arms every day!
Not only does he make each child feel special with his attention, he also makes sure their Fridays are fun because he hands out delicious candy!
Jon and his wife only have one daughter, who is now fully grown, but they had hoped to have a large family before miscarriages rendered her an only child. The children on his bus route are his surrogate family!
