Mall Security Kicks Out Humiliated Shopper For Wearing Outfit She Bought At The Same Mall

Sierrah Anderson, 21, headed off to a shopping mall in Winnipeg to look for a new phone in 2018. She never expected her simple excursion would put her at the center of a controversy — all because of the outfit she wore that day.

During her shopping trip, security staff approached Sierrah and demanded she either leave the mall at once or face public indecency charges. She stood there in shock as the guard motioned to her body and called her outfit "inappropriate" and "indecent."

Sierrah, who confidently owns her colorful and distinct sense of style, was wearing shorts and a crop top covered by a long fringe vest. She felt it was the perfect outfit for the hot summer day. And she was especially confused because she had purchased those very same shorts at the very same mall.

Feeling she had no other choice than to comply, Sierrah felt humiliated as security escorted her out of the mall in front of countless shoppers. She never even got a chance to make a single purchase.

Once word got out about her controversial outfit and the punishment she faced, Sierrah was surprised to receive a call from the mall's general manager. As it turned out, not everyone agreed with the security guard's opinion.
