This 8-Year-Old Maltese Dog Model Is Dressed Better Than All Of Us

It's 2018, and you no longer have to be six feet tall and skin and bones to be a model.

People of all shapes and sizes, like Ashley Graham, have proven to us that the fashion industry is becoming more accepting of a variety of different looks and body shapes.

In fact, you don't even need to be a human to have a successful modeling career anymore. Take Lilliput, the dog model from London who has already been featured in more fashion campaigns than most (or all) people you know, for example.

Cute little Lilliput didn't just wake up one day and become the supermodel she is today. Rather, she had to be carefully trained to be able to handle the demands of the fashion world.

Her owner, Marianne, tells the Mirror that Lilliput even has her own nutritionist, trainer, and homeopath to keep her camera-ready at all times.

She may need a glam squad, but it's totally worth it judging from some of her work below.

Lilliput shares plenty of photos on Instagram, where she has over 100,000 followers.

According to her Urban Paws UK profile, Lilliput has modeled for clothing brands, magazines, and newspapers, and has even appeared on television shows.

Of course, she is more than just a pretty face; she's extremely well behaved, too.

Lilliput can sit, stay, give a high five, wave goodbye, spin, come, and go away. Can your dog do all that?

I didn't think so.

She has also "perfected her classic head-over-the-shoulder" modeling pose that we see people do so often, according to Urban Paws UK.

Although Lilliput shares some traits with the types of models we're most familiar with, her stature is definitely what sets her apart.

Little Lilliput doesn't even weigh five pounds, and is only eight and a half inches tall.

She may be less giraffe-like than most models, but that's what makes her the perfect purse accessory!
