There's a lot that goes into planning a party for a loved one. Every detail is taken care of to make the event as perfect as can be and memorable, to say the least. If it's a birthday party, the key moment is when the birthday guy or gal sees their cake for the first time, with the candles lit.
One man in Belgium had everything set up for his girlfriend's party: all their friends were there, singing "Happy Birthday to You."
In the video below, she looks happy and pleased with the way everything has turned out.
As her boyfriend walks into the room, he's very careful with the birthday cake in his hands. Every step is carefully placed so that he doesn't slip or fall.
But he should have checked his balance too!
Unfortunately, the man tries so hard to be careful that he makes a big mistake. It looks like he isn't holding the platter on which the cake is propped. Just as he lowers the cake onto the table, it topples over, falling to the floor. All the guests yell, a little stunned by the terrible turn of events.
Luckily, the birthday girl doesn't take it too seriously. She's still having a great time with her boyfriend and her friends, with or without cake!
