Thieves Steal Man’s Truck — Then Owner Is Devastated When He Realizes His Dog Is Inside

When David Arbogast's home was broken into, thieves made out with about $100,000 of his belongings, his truck, and his dog.

The pup, a Boston terrier by the name of Sparky, is David's best friend, as many pets are to their owners. The devastated man put flyers up all over the neighborhood, hoping for the best possible outcome. It wasn't long before cops had recovered his truck, but there was no sign of Sparky.

But just a month after the incident, a stranger called David claiming he had found the pup. The man, Mario, had to pay a homeless man $100 to be able to take the dog home when he recognized him from the flyers.

The two were able to meet, and as soon as the dog saw his owner, he jumped into his arms! The two were finally reunited after too much time apart.

David is, of course, ecstatic to have his best friend at home and safe again. But what really took him by surprise was how the thieves found it in their hearts to let Sparky go without harming him.

Police have yet to find the perpetrators, but David is just glad that what matters most to him is back in his arms.
