A woman in a gray coat, holding the red leash of her pug in one hand and a stack of books in the other, stands in a quiet lobby waiting for the elevator. As she's waiting, two men catch the attention of her pug, who watches them happily as they join the pair in the lobby.
The doors open, and she gives a gentle tug on the distracted puppy's leash, guiding it into the elevator. But as she reaches up to press the button for the appropriate floor, her pug darts out of the elevator… just as the doors are closing!
She gives a desperate tug on the leash, hoping to pull her dog back in, but the metal doors close too quickly and the leash is trapped between them.
One of the men who was waiting with them in the lobby quickly reaches for the elevator button, hoping to stop it from moving, but it's too late.
The pug glances back just as the elevator begins its ascent. In a flash, the pug flies back, colliding with the doors as the elevator pulls its leash up toward the top of the closed doors.
As the dog dangles in the air, the man grabs desperately at the leash. He grasps it tightly in one hand and fumbles frantically with the collar until he finally is able to unhook it from the leash.
