I'll never forget the time my friend and I were standing in line to get McDonald's breakfast; the line was long and 11:00 a.m. was approaching.
You know Mickey Ds has an unnecessarily strict breakfast policy. After 11:00 a.m., breakfast is no longer an option, which is probably a good thing because I'd be scarfing down hash browns all day long if they'd let me. Who could resist?
My friend and I were waiting in line to order brekkie, and we were craving the hash browns as usual. I managed to get my order in right before 11:00 a.m. — but my friend just missed the cutoff! Even though she was next in line, the employee told her she couldn't order breakfast. It was over. It was lunchtime. Can you believe that?! Luckily I had ordered two hash browns!
Ever since then I've been wondering how to make McDonald's hash browns at home. Now thanks to youtube I can finally perfect that salty, crispy taste! I love copycat recipes like this one, as well as others we've recently shared, like the one for yummy KFC fried chicken and this one for Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade.
