A teacher from Tulsa, Oklahoma recently gave her sixth-grade students the one lesson they needed most, but would not find in any of their textbooks…
Melissa Bour, who teaches science and math at Emerson Elementary School, was horrified and upset after seeing some of the risqué photos her pre-teen pupils were posting online.
Bour decided to school her young students by playing the same game and proving to them how quickly their indecent and incriminating photos can be shared and stolen from pages like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The teacher wrote a letter about her students' bad sharing habits and posted a photo of it to her personal Facebook page.
“My 12-year-old students think it is ‘no big deal’ that they are posting pictures of themselves in bras or with their middle finger in the air. Please help me out by sharing this image and commenting with where you live to show these young students how quickly their images can get around,” Bour wrote.
Within hours, the teacher's post went viral, with people sharing and commenting from nearly every state in the U.S., as well as many other countries around the world.
Check out Bour's letter below and then listen to what she has to say!

Bour later deleted the photo post, but the following status update excited her Facebook fans...and most likely the parents of her young students!
