I haven't received the gift of being a parent as of yet, but I can say I am looking forward to it. I can only imagine what it must feel like, holding your newborn baby, looking into his or her eyes for the first time. It must be a truly stunning experience. With all that goes on in a hospital room, whether it's the actual labor, a C-section or any number of complications and happenings, the moment you meet your baby boy or girl makes it all worth it.

The footage, filmed in Portland, Oregon, shows a mom after recently giving birth, still lying on the operating table.
Her natural labor lasted 10 full hours, but then doctors informed her that her baby's heart rate had begun to rise.
Due to that complication, they had to perform an emergency C-section.
But it all was worth it for this moment.
A nurse brought the baby boy to his mom and placed him close enough so that their faces were touching. Mom quickly gave her newborn son a few gentle kisses, while Dad said "Good job!" from behind the camera.
They lay there together, skin-to-skin, enjoying each other's company and forming a bond that will undoubtedly last forever!
