In 2021, a North Carolina woman found herself arrested after complaining about vomit on her daughter's plane seat area.
Rosetta Swinney and her 14-year-old daughter were on a Frontier Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Raleigh. Shortly after boarding, the young girl noticed something disgusting.
"She felt something wet in her hand… She smelled it, she said, 'Oh, this is vomit, Mommy,'" Rosetta told Inside Edition.
Rosetta asked a flight attendant to clean up the mess, which is extremely reasonable! But the flight attendant reportedly told Rosetta that it wasn't her job.
At that point, flight staff claimed that Rosetta became "disruptive." They called the police to remove her from the flight, and officers arrested Rosetta in the terminal. She spent 12 hours in jail and faced a misdemeanor trespassing charge.

Frontier refunded the cost of Rosetta's flight. In a statement, the airlines wrote:
“The flight attendants apologized and immediately invited the mother and her teenage daughter to move to either end of the plane so that the seat area could be cleaned. The mother and daughter were also told that once boarding was complete, they would be provided other seats if available. The daughter was also offered cleaning products and invited to use the lavatory to wash up. The mother was unsatisfied with the response and became disruptive.”
Rosetta says the experience was humiliating.
"I am very upset," she said.
She's definitely not the only one. Watch the videos that other passengers took of the encounter below!
