Mom Of 3 Sons Posts Photo In Red Bikini To Draw Attention To Stretch Marks And ‘Flabby Tummy’

Over the course of one's lifetime, one's body will bear the marks of many journeys. Women who have given birth will notice that their bodies will always carry traces of their pregnancies, whether they like it or not.

One mom named Rachel Hollis isn't afraid to show off those marks. She's given birth three times, and, like many women, has the stretch marks to prove it. She's chosen to not just admit to having them or show them in public, but to be proud of them too. After all, they're nothing to be ashamed of!

In a post on her page, The Chic Site, she encourages all moms to follow her lead and to embrace their "stripes" like her. She even included a picture of herself in a bikini on the beach!

Do you have stretch marks, too? Let us know how you feel about them, and if Rachel inspired you to change your tune about them!

You can read her post below.

I have stretch marks and I wear a bikini. I have a belly that's permanently flabby from carrying three giant babies and I wear a bikini.

My belly button is saggy… (which is something I didn't even know was possible before!!) and I wear a bikini.

I wear a bikini because I'm proud of this body and every mark on it.

Those marks prove that I was blessed enough to carry my babies and that flabby tummy means I worked hard to lose what weight I could.

I wear a bikini because the only man who's opinion matters knows what I went through to look this way. That same man says he's never seen anything sexier than my body, marks and all.

They aren't scars ladies, they're stripes and you've earned them. Flaunt that body with pride!
