When a mother noticed her daughter leaving their home with all of her savings in tow, she decided to follow her. What she discovered completely shocked her.
As soon as Sherry walked in the door after work, her daughter Maria started in on her about a cool pair of boots that she felt she needed to have. According to Maria, her mom never coughed up any money for the dress she wanted last month either.
At that point, Sherry confronted her daughter about taking money out of her wallet without asking permission. Maria showed absolutely no remorse and told her mom that she never gave her any spending money.
Then, Maria really crossed a line. She told her mother that it was due to her that her father died because Sherry couldn’t afford to pay for his treatments when he got sick.
Sherry was in tears after Maria stormed off to her room. When Maria was 14 years old, her dad, Alec, was diagnosed with cancer. Sherry did everything she could, from getting him chemo treatments to doing her best to take care of him after work hours. In the end, all of the medical bills took over and it simply was not enough to save Alec.
After their heated argument, Maria didn’t speak to her mom for nearly three months.

Sherry decided to leave her job as a waitress and found a receptionist position so that she could provide a better life for her daughter.
