Every dad looks forward to his little girl's wedding day, while some probably never want it to come. Watching a little girl grow up is incredible, I'm sure. But it must also be hard to see the little child you once held, cradled in your arms do grown-up things, like move far away from home or get married.
But of course, moving far away from home means that she's living her best life, possibly for a job or to see the world while she's still young and able-bodied. And getting married? That means that they've found the person that they know will love them for the rest of her life, who she wants to grow old with and bring into the family.
The actual wedding can be stressful for reasons other than the sentimental ones, though.
There are, of course, the immense expenses that come along with a wedding ceremony. Even smaller weddings can rack up a pretty huge bill for whoever's paying for it.
There's the food, the table settings, the invitations, the flowers, the rent for the venue, the music… The list goes on and on. But one of the most important expenses?
That would be the wedding dress. Every little girl thinks about what they want their wedding dress to look like at one point or another.
But this trend? It might give most fathers a heart attack… And not because of all of the commas before the decimal point on the price tag.
