Keeping personal items in communal areas can be a little risky when you don't know the other people who share that space very well. Such a setting would be a large office. Although I totally trust that my colleagues won't take anything from my desk, other people may not be as certain.
Office refrigerators are perhaps the most common place for workplace theft. What can easily be confused as a shared jug of milk is actually one that someone bought with their own money, and that's just an honest mistake.
However, when the action is repeated despite notes left for the thieves, people sometimes feel that they need to take action. That's what one new mom decided to do when she saw that her expensive almond-coconut milk was being used by someone else.
She decided to get revenge by playing a little trick on the thief: she left a note saying that it was actually mixed with her breast milk and that the thief was drinking that too!

Leaving your milk in the office fridge can be tricky: others may think that they can use it, even though you really just meant for it to be yours.
One mom noticed that a colleague was stealing her expensive coconut-almond milk and decided to get revenge by writing a note about what was really in the bottle: her breastmilk!
She says, "I had to do it! My expensive almond-coconut keeps disappearing! My excuse to everyone, I drink my own milk to help me with my supply (they believe it) lol."
Of course, she's not the first to think up such a clever revenge strategy. Other moms have been using this tactic too!
Of course, there's nothing dangerous about consuming breast milk as an adult.
But perhaps the milk thief saw the note and was uncomfortable enough to stop taking the expensive, special milk.
This also isn't the most radical way to protect one's food. Who thought about locking up milk this way?
People who saw the photo seemed onboard with the revenge tactic. They even shared their own stories about weeding out the food thieves in their offices!
