It's almost eerily silent when Jordan Chiles takes position. Just the act of raising her arms above her head creates a sound like a landslide — or perhaps, a gathering storm.
That’s because her routine is in slow motion, and the result is utterly incredible to watch.
At only 15 years old, this teenager is a powerhouse of gymnastic skill, and Director Chelsea McMullan captures every heart-stopping second in her film Untaggable: What is #perfection?
It's a video for Audi that offers up an intriguing premise juxtaposed with absolutely breathtaking visuals. "A million imperfect moments make us perfectly who we are," the tagline states, and that's never been truer than in this video.
Gymnastics videos are always delightful to watch! I’m no athlete, but I certainly enjoy playing the spectator. Simone Biles is, of course, the reigning champion of the sport, but Oksana Chusovitina — the 41-year-old gymnastics competitor in today’s Olympic Games — is incredibly impressive, as well.
In this video, however, we’re being taken on a journey. Chiles’ technique as a competitive gymnast, as well as her training throughout the years, offers a glimpse into this glittery, albeit sweaty, lifestyle.
From the early days of class to the intensive training she’s experiencing now, it’s obvious that Chiles is destined for greatness. Now, we can just see the evolution of it!
