A dog who was born to die a painful death has a new leash on life thanks to brave rescuers!
Here at LittleThings, we share a lot of pretty amazing stories of animals being saved from the most horrific conditions imaginable. We believe that every animal, no matter if they're dangerous, like this wolf who was dying in an icy river, or as small as this goldfish who was no longer able to swim on its own, deserves the chance at a good life.
We're pretty grateful that there are so many awesome rescue organizations like World Animal Awareness Society that share in our mission — and this next story from them proves there is hope for even the most neglected of God's creatures.
In the following video we meet Moma, a dog who was born into a life of dog-fighting because of a criminal breeder in Houston, Texas. Through the wonderful program Operation Houston, rescuers tracked down Moma and two other watchful protectors who guarded the abandoned house where the pit bull was hiding. With some food in tow, the brave rescuers entered the home and were able to pull Moma out to get her the second chance she deserves.
As you can see, Moma was in pretty bad shape, but she's already proven she's a survivor and will pull through.
Please SHARE this video to send a prayer to all of the animals out there who need our help!
