It was a pleasant day at the zoo, until this feisty orangutan spotted something he wanted on the other side of his cage.
A young man was observing a few orangutans in their habitat, when a particularly silly ape approached him. It seemed as if he was in love with the man's T-shirt and needed to have it for himself.
In the video below, posted on February 3, 2017, the orangutan grips onto the man's clothing. The zoo visitor struggles to get out of the tricky situation, trying to yank his shirt away from the orangutan's hands.
Then, seeing that he has been challenged, the orangutan slips his right arm through the bars as well, not giving up on his fight for the man's shirt.
Eventually, the man has no choice but to remove his shirt and hold a steady grip on his clothing instead. He soon gives in and the orangutan falls on his back holding the T-shirt, due to the immense strength he was using to pull backwards.
The entire crowd is laughing and watching with keen eyes to see what happens next.
The orangutan makes his way to the other side of his habitat and plays around with the beige shirt for a while. He flops it on his head, whips it around, and even nibbles on it.
After some thought, he finally figures out how to put it on and wear the shirt like a human would.
