These Otters Are Waiting For Their Favorite Zookeeper. When They See Him? Wow!

We've shared a lot of stories and videos that show just how excited pets can get when their companions return from being away for a long time. It's one of the cutest things in the world to see a dog or a cat (or even a group of wolves) jump for joy and go crazy when they see their favorite human for the first time in ages.

Well, that excitement doesn't extend just to house pets, as you'll see in the video below. Even wild animals get so attached to certain people that they, too, feel the same type of excitement when they return.

In the video, taken at the otter and owl sanctuary within the New Forest Wildlife Park in Southampton, U.K., you can see a group of seven baby otters lined up against a fence, excitedly waiting for their favorite zookeeper to return.

They are beautiful animals, but they are so cute when they sit up on their hind legs and put their little otter hands through the fence. It's like they can't get close enough to the action as he returns.

Within seconds, the otters are sticking their little snouts into the holes of the fence, climbing all over each other, and squeaking like crazy. The squeaks are so loud and pronounced that they actually sound like someone squeezing a squeak toy!

If you're looking for your daily dose of cuteness, you need look no further than this adorable video.
