On an ordinary evening, many fathers might play a board game with their son or shoot some hoops.
But — like a father named Chris who made people laugh when he performed Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" with his son, and another who taught his son an amazing trick — this duo below also isn’t that predictable.
In a comical video titled When Mama Isn’t Home, Russ and Toby Bauer, a father and son from Brisbane, Australia, showcase a short duet of Darude’s “Sandstorm.” With over three million views on YouTube, trust me, it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
Wearing sunglasses, Russ starts off playing the keyboard. Eventually, his son joins him for some percussion, but what he uses as an instrument is completely unexpected. When you see what he does at the :15 mark, it will be almost impossible not to laugh!
The video below is only one of two hilarious moments from the father and son. In 2014, the now-viral pair released a prequel, which includes a trumpet along with Toby’s little technique.
In an interview with Australia’s Today show, Toby explained how his life has changed since his internet fame.
“Everyone at school just keeps on telling me, ‘Oh, I’ve seen you on YouTube,' ” he said. “It’s just gone crazy.”
