42-Year-Old Widow Undergoes Surgical Makeover To Help Her Find Happiness After Husband’s Death

When you think back to the early 2000s, you might think of bell-bottomed jeans, some questionable hair streaks, and an age full of rap music evolving and emerging in the media.

Another thing that was popular in 2004 was the show The Swan.

This show took women who were no longer feeling confident in themselves or who were going through an emotional struggle, and transformed them into "swans."

The process takes its course over about three months, and the results are usually unbelievable.

Each episode involves plastic surgery, which may be controversial, but the importance of the emotional results are what we love about these transformations. Not only do the women's physical appearances become altered, therapy helps them pinpoint their problems and change their ways of thinking so they can keep up a positive and happy lifestyle with their new looks in tow.

Each woman is undeniably giddy after her transformation, and all of them explain the great amount of confidence and excitement they gained through their experience on The Swan.

Patti Chedohan had gone through so much hardship over the 10 years prior to the episode below. She lost her husband to cancer and lost herself in the process of her grief.

She was ready for a change, finally. And she got that change, but unfortunately, she was also diagnosed with cancer during the process.

The therapists on the show helped her through her diagnosis and the confidence from her new appearance helped her too.

Sometimes, the most unexpected situations end up falling into our laps when we don't even realize we need them.

Please SHARE this insane transformation with everyone you know!
