40 Years Ago, A Stranger Saved His Life And Gave Him A Message That’s Changed The World!

On a snowy winter night 40 years ago, Thomas Weller plowed his automobile into an Illinois snow bank. He would have frozen to death if not for the help of a stranger who came to his aid. Since that night, Thomas–who lives in San Diego–has repaid that kindness over 5,000 times along highways in southern California.

He helps stranded motorists free of charge. When they ask why he does it, he simply passes them a card with the same words the stranger spoke to him so many years ago:

Assisting you has been my pleasure. I ask for no payment other than for you to pass on the favor by helping someone in distress that you may encounter.

For the 5,000 people he's helped directly (and all of the people those men and women have helped) that's a message that has truly changed their world.
