As consumers, it is on all of us to treat our planet with the respect it deserves while dealing with our waste. Recycling is an important step in making sure we retain our natural resources rather than exploit them. When I stumbled across the invention shown below, I was stunned by how useful a simple plastic bottle can be!
The small device, which you can purchase by pledging to their Kickstarter, cuts the bottles into perfect strips of rope that can then be used in so many ways. For instance, did you know that those soda bottles could also be used to tow a car? Or keep your plants in line in the garden, or create stunning accents for your home or homemade jewelry. With so many options, it's a good thing they are much easier to store in the more compact form!
