Cop Finds Pregnant Mom & Toddler Asleep On Sidewalk So He Decided He Had To Do Something

Tommy Norman was a dedicated and conscientious police officer who served the community of North Little Rock, Arkansas. The 42-year-old seasoned public servant was a humble and kind man who always approached his job with an open heart.

The Norman family was known for being a hospitable and successful family as Tommy’s grandparents moved from New Mexico to Arkansas and struggled for years until they opened what became one of the top steakhouses in the state. When Tommy’s grandparents eventually retired, his parents took over the business and were content with bringing such a special establishment to their quaint community.

Even though Tommy didn’t work for the family business, he always had the support of his loved ones to pursue his dream career of being a police officer. He had been on the job for over 20 years and had been involved in many high-profile cases.

Since he had put achieving success in his career at the forefront of his life, he found himself still single at the age of 40, but he often thought of the individuals that he helped throughout his time as a police officer as family.

According to WSVN, late one night when Tommy was out on patrol, he came across a heavily pregnant woman named Jessica and her 2-year-old daughter who were sleeping on the side of a busy street.

The news outlet reports that Jessica was trying to come out of an abusive relationship and found herself with nowhere to go. Tommy wasn’t sure what to do, but he knew he needed to help them, so he decided to put them up in a hotel room and post their story on social media calling for community assistance.
