When you’re young, it feels like life is full of surprises. There are birthdays, college acceptance letters, job offers, and marriage proposals. Once you get older, people think that these shockers slow down. They may, but when you get a good one — boy is it great!
Take, for instance, Grandma Dottie. She gave her granddaughter, Cassie, her high school prom dress when Cassie was just a little girl because she figured she’d like playing dress up in it. Years later, Cassie astonished her nana by wearing that same dress to her prom. The reaction on Grandma Dottie’s face alone is enough to prove that surprises, much like fine wines, just get better with age.
The jolt of joy the woman in the video below receives when she opens her oven is pretty epic. Especially since a lot of thought and effort was put into this particular surprise. Personally, I loved seeing her reaction so much that I re-watched this video three times in a row. It’s so cute and thoughtful, and her reaction is so big, you can’t help but share in her happiness.
So what does she find inside the oven that’s so sweet? I’ll tell you one thing: It ain’t a cake. Or cookies. Or even a cake made out of cookies. The only way you're going to find out is by watching it.
