When they shared their "Epic Pregnancy Progression," it was a viral hit with over 4.4 million views. The video is simple enough. Each week of her pregnancy, Farris measures her ever-growing baby bump. Then finally after 40 weeks, you get to see her newborn baby girl. There's nothing crazy or over the top about the video. There is nothing unusual about her pregnancy. Yet, the video resonated with millions.
Perhaps, it's because so rarely we get to see a frame-by-frame documentation of a woman's pregnancy. How her body changes, how it becomes a home for a real living, breathing human being. They don't call it the miracle of life for nothing. So many people do not get to bear witness to the nine month progression of a child's birth. It's fascinating that a woman's very being can transform into shelter that nourishes, homes, and provides for an infant. Then just like that, the baby is born, and she goes back to her regular state!
