A flight from Bali to Los Angeles had to make an emergency landing after a mother's water broke just six hours into the 19-hour flight.
The mother gave birth eight weeks early, 30,000 feet in the air. The plane was re-routed to land in Alaska, but there was no stopping the baby, who was determined to be delivered then and there.
With only 30 minutes to go before landing in Alaska, the mother gave birth to a round of applause for the new mommy and the flight attendants who came to her assistance at a difficult time.
Sometimes when the baby wants out, she wants out. In another recent story, a cop pulled over to discover a woman in labor in her car.
The flight attendants wrapped the mother and her bundle of joy in blankets. Both mother and child are reportedly doing well.
The Civil Aeronautics Administration revealed that the baby's nationality will depend on the birth certificate issued in Alaska. The mother is Taiwanese.
"This is a once in a lifetime thing. These tourists will never experience this again," the passenger who recorded the experience said.
Not many people get to see such an intimate moment in a parent's life. One thing is for sure, mommy will be telling this story for the rest of her life!
