Angry Principal Confronts School Bully. What He Did? UNBELIEVABLE!

Every day, kids see bullying. And how you respond can make an impact on bullying over time. That's the philosophy Joshua Romano, the principal of Murdock Middle/High School in Winchendon, MA lives by.

When he recently caught wind that a few students were mocking classmates' looks, sexual orientation, and athletic ability on Twitter, Romano took matters into his own hands.

In response to the unacceptable behavior, the Iraq War veteran fired off an angry email to the entire student body:

“To the pathetic cowards who chose to start and participate in this, you are warned. I am coming for you and I am furious… I have more respect for insurgents I fought in Iraq than I do for people behind this Twitter account. At least Iraqis had the courage to face their targets and not hide behind a Twitter account.”

Although some believe the principal crossed the line, others are applauding his taking a stand against cyberbullying.

Romano admits his comments were harsh but necessary to get his point across. He says the anonymous tweets were crude and vulgar.

"I wanted to make it clear that I wasn't going to rest until I know who had done this and there were consequences for doing this," he said.
