Sad news today. We just learned that Colonel Meow, the rescue cat dubbed the world’s angriest cat, has passed away in Los Angeles. Colonel Meow was just two years old. His story started when his human found him on the side of the road in Seattle and took him in.The cause of his death was not immediately released.
Followers of Colonel Meow, whose Facebook page has over 350,000 likes, were referred to as his “minions” while his human mom called herself “slave beast.”
Apparently, Colonel Meow became ill and no vets could figure out what was wrong with him. He’d already had expensive surgery in the past.
But let’s remember Colonel Meow for his life and not his death! In addition to being an internet sensation, Meow was The Guinness Book Of World Records holder for Longest Hair On A Cat!
He was also friends with other famous cats, like Lil Bub.
He was a true American Hero among cats…
…and he will be sorely missed for his hilarious photos.
