Rescued Dog Gets To Reunite With Her Puppy After Years

A lucky rescued pooch named Ellie had a heartwarming reunion with her puppy, and it was all captured on video.

When California's No Kill Kern animal shelter saved Ellie from a nearby shelter, she was on the verge of death due to starvation and diabetes.

“We immediately took her to Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital unsure if she would survive,” the organization explains in the below video. “Ellie had diabetes and would slowly die without treatment. She began to improve when we found that she had a secret.”

That special little secret was her male puppy named Buster. No Kill Kern immediately rescued Ellie's little one in order to bring the two back together again.

At the 1:05 mark, we see that lovely moment mom and pup get to see each other again. After a few sniffs and licks, Ellie and Buster seemed like they were best buds. The incredible moment reminiscent of the two sibling pooches who reunited after growing up  will certainly bring a smile to your face.

Ellie is still on her way to recovery, but Buster is surely a great way to keep her happy in the meantime. If you'd like to help No Kill Kern take care of Ellie, visit the pooch's GoFundMe page.
