Man On Stage Looks At Girlfriend In Crowd, Then Stuns Her And Audience With A Proposal Song

Robert McPherson is an entertainer and a tenor in the Metropolitan Opera. As the self-proclaimed "Drunken Tenor," he is no stranger to putting on a show.

But this show might be his best yet!

In the video you're about to watch, Robert performs his usual show in Seattle when he decides to do something different.

After a bit of singing, Robert tells everyone that the show is over and the audience can leave if they want to, but he'll keep singing. And he does. Only this time, he sings a special song dedicated to his girlfriend, Holly.

Holly, with whom Robert has been in a relationship for the last three years, is in the crowd enjoying the show.

So when he starts singing "I Chose Right" by David Shire, which contains the lyrics, "As I leave my single life behind," Holly is visibly startled.

Is Robert doing what she thinks he's doing?

As the tenor continues to bellow out the song, the camera zooms in on Holly. Then Robert gets down on one knee in front of her, and, suffice it to say, her reaction is a must-watch!

She completely loses it, absolutely shocked by Robert's surprise proposal.

Eventually, she says yes, accepts the ring, and the crowd in the venue showers them with applause.
