Samson the dog loves to play around and make the most of his days, even when the Newfoundland is being a little naughty.
One day, his owner came outside to a startling scene on her patio.
In the video below, posted on February 15, 2017, the owner says, "Samson, come here. Come here."
She walks over to the far side of the outdoor area with her energetic four-legged friend.
She's fixated on the odd situation going on in the corner nearby.
She then asks Samson, "Did you move that all the way over here to try and hide that you dug a hole in the corner?"
The astonished owner zooms in on the large dirt pit with her camera, making sure to capture what her mischievous dog did while she was inside. She stands up again and tries to process what's going on.
"I've never seen anything like this! You were trying to cover it up," she tells him. "Or were you trying to put the chair in the hole?"
While his owner expresses her concern, the Newfoundland dog can't help but play with a wavy-patterned pillow, whipping it all around. He doesn't seem the least bit remorseful, but probably a little bummed that his owner didn't fall for his concealment plan.
