Shannon is a mother of three children and likes to remind them of her love. One day, she stuck a note on the refrigerator with a touching message.
When her kids saw the reminder, it made them feel so good that Shannon decided she wanted other people to know that they're loved.
She decided to spread positivity by posting similar reminders around town.
"I feel alive when I do it. I feel connected to myself, to my kids, to the greater world," she said.
Recently, lots of folks are interested in spreading happiness all over the world. For example, this guy quit his job to high-five the world.
Shannon's method is a little bit different. She leaves signs and slogans around San Francisco with her children.
She was especially moved when she saw the impact such a simple message can have. When two grieving parents of a 22-year-old son, who died in a car accident, went to the scene of the incident for evidence, all they saw was a love note from Shannon that read: "There Is No One Like You."
"This experience of taking love or getting love from somewhere … you have the capacity or the bandwidth to give love somewhere else," she said.
See how Shannon and her kids spread the love at night when no one is looking in the video below.
