Water Boy With Down Syndrome Is Hoisted Into The Air After He Scores His First Touchdown

There's nothing better for a parent than to see your kids succeed.

No matter what they're doing, seeing that gleam of success and pride in their eyes is always such an amazing feeling.

It can be better than reaching your own goals to see your child reach theirs.

For parents of specials needs children, these milestones are even more amazing.

There's often a lot of talk about the limitations that special needs children will come up against for their entire lives, but it's less common to hear about all that they can and will accomplish.

These kids are capable of so much, all it takes is a little bit of help in getting them there.

When Miles Laird's teammates decided to help him score his very first touchdown after serving as the team's water boy, they kept it a secret from his parents.

The Lairds had no idea that their little boy would be having such a big day and it made the moment even more special than it already was.

You can just see the amazement and emotion on his mother's face when he goes in for the touchdown. It's so wonderful to see!

And even better than that? Miles' excitement during his moment of glory!
