Shark Gets Stranded On The Beach Before Heroes Drag Him To Safety

From the very second this video began, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Now this is an amazing rescue video.

A young shark recently went to catch some seagulls on Cape Cod in Chatham, MA. He tried to return to the water, but couldn't make it back in time. The 7-foot Great White ended up stranded on the shore, surrounded by a flock of stunned beach-goers. As he lay trapped and beached on the sand, he grew exhausted and scared. At one point, the visitors thought the shark was dead. It's a heartbreaking sight.

Luckily, beach officials stepped in and saved the day. The shark raised his head and was met with heartwarming cheers from the crowd. Despite the horror stories about those who fall victim to sharks, these people wanted this poor creature to survive. Though many people may deem this shark a "monster," the outcome here restored my faith in humanityA .

Incredibly, folks stepped out of the crowd to help keep the shark hydrated, working together to pour water onto his body as he struggled to breathe. Though the video is painful to watch at times, the shark was safely tagged by Marine Fisheries officials. The men attached a line to its rear caudal fin and towed him back into the water, where he eventually swam away.

Such awesome footage. If you agree, please SHARE this video with your friends on Facebook!
