It's difficult to image who would steal a soccer ball from a kid, but that's exactly what happened to this 14-year-old boy.
While he was at soccer practice, Dylan Stuart left his ball unattended and when he went to collect it he found that it wasn't there anymore. Someone had swiped it from right under his nose!
The boy was obviously upset about losing his soccer ball, so he went home to tell his mom that he needed to get a new one to practice with.
Because there are two other kids in the family who also play sports, money is a bit tight and the boy's mom knew they'd have to get an inexpensive ball.
When the family headed to the store to purchase the new ball at Soccer Pro in California, a total stranger overheard their story.
He was buying his own soccer ball and, after he'd already paid, he decided to pull out his wallet again.
He left a $20 bill with the cashier and told him to put it towards the boy's new soccer ball.
The family was so stunned and grateful for the man's kind action. The remaining balance for their purchase was only $3.75.
It's so nice to be on the receiving end of a good deed, especially in the face of such a disheartening situation.
