She’s Throwing A Party For A Bunch Of Strangers. The Reason? I’m In Tears!

"Life was perfect," Kelly remembers through tears. "It was just how it should be." Unfortunately for this young mother, everything was about to change.

10 years ago, a mere 14 weeks after her son Eli was born, Kelly and her family were in a horrific car crash. Her husband, AJ, was killed on impact. Her 14-week-old infant son, Eli, was airlifted to the hospital, barely clinging to life.

Doctors weren't sure that baby Eli would make it through such a traumatic crash… But one week later, Kelly was bringing her newborn son home.

With the help of Strong Films, Kelly is going back to thank the everyday heroes — doctors, nurses, and first responders — who saved her baby's life. She calls it "The Thank You Project," and it's one woman's quest to express gratitude to people who were just doing their jobs. It's hard to get through this video without tearing up. By 2:45, I had to reach for the Kleenex. This is one of the most beautiful expressions of gratefulness that I've ever seen.

Special thanks to James at Strong Films for sharing this powerful story of gratitude with our team.
