Crying Teacher Corners Female Student To Tell Her Why She Inspires Her Every Day

The power of positive reinforcement has proven to work wonders on kids' minds. If they are reminded about how special they are, and how they are capable of achieving great things, then chances are they will strive to reach their goals.

In American public schools, one of the main complaints is the overcrowding of classrooms, and thus the high student-to-teacher ratio.

It may be assumed that, because there are so many students assigned to each instructor, they won't get the attention they need to succeed.

While this may be true in many classrooms, teachers at Oak Park High School in Kansas City, MO, are proving that their students are the only motivation they need to come to work and pass on their knowledge to young minds.

Each teacher was given an assignment: Pick one student who inspires them to get up in the morning and to give their job their all.

The students' reactions were caught on camera, and the range of emotions they express perfectly shows just how much a few simple words mean to them.

Many laugh nervously, or even hide their faces. They are all stunned by the news, and touched by how much they mean to another person — clearly not knowing how much of an impact they've made. Some even cry.
