Tallulah Willis Was Called ‘Ugly’ And 10 Years Later She Gets Revenge On Instagram At Age 23

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's youngest daughter, Tallulah, has opened up about growing up in the public eye while constantly being scrutinized over her appearance.

Diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder when she was 13, Tallulah would see comments about her online and come away feeling like a "hideous, disgusting-looking person."

Throughout her teenage years, she battled against eating disorders, substance abuse, and depression.

Recently, Tallulah — now a 23-year-old artist — posted a photo on Instagram while on a snowy Christmas getaway with her older sisters, Rumer and Scout.

She used the incredible image as revenge against the critics who used to call her ugly as a child…

While romantically linked in the '80s and '90s, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore were Hollywood royalty.

The blockbuster movie stars tied the knot in 1987 and divorced in 2000.

They have three beautiful daughters: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah.

It wasn't easy navigating adolescence and puberty with one of the world's most stunning women as your mom.

Tallulah, the youngest of the trio, has spoken publicly about growing up in the public eye while being scrutinized over her appearance.

In 2014, she told Katie Couric, "I had people, when I was 13, telling me how ugly I was, and how could two beautiful actors create such hideous, troll children?"

Tallulah was diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder at the age of 13, a mental disorder characterized by the obsessive idea that some aspect of one's own appearance is severely flawed.

"I recall very specifically I was in a New York hotel room when I was 13 (before social media was such a huge thing), looking at a photo of myself online," she told Teen Vogue. "I broke down in tears as I started to read the comments."

"I thought, I am a hideous, disgusting-looking person. I might be nice, and I might be kind, but I'm a really unattractive human being."

Tallulah says she began abusing drugs when her "depression became overwhelming" during college.

By the time she was 20, she realized she'd reached a breaking point and checked herself into rehab for drug addiction.

The 23-year-old artist has come such a long way since she first opened up about her depression, substance abuse, and eating disorder.

"It's not night and day — it's not like now I completely love myself and I have no problems. That isn't how it works.

"But there are the starting points of that, and that's really exciting. I'm growing every day and breaking old patterns."

Online trolls and vicious bloggers would say Tallulah and her sisters "looked too much like Bruce" or "not enough like Demi."

But they've come into their own.

Recently, Tallulah posted a photo on Instagram and it's the perfect representation of her newfound sense of confidence.

During a snowy vacation on Christmas Day, Tallulah decided to take a dip in the river and show off her bikini body.

But the awesome image also serves as a dose of sweet revenge against all those critics who slammed her for the way she looked as a child.

"Dedicated to everyone who called me ugly at 13," she captioned the photo.

Absolutely stunning.

Take that, haters!

Tallulah isn't the only offspring of Bruce and Demi who grew up being bullied by the media.

Rumer Willis, the eldest sister, says she was relentlessly bullied as a teenager. "I would read that stuff and feel awful. I thought, 'I don’t even get a chance?'"

Despite the fact Rumer went to college, worked at a Marc Jacobs boutique, landed film and TV roles, and won Dancing With The Stars, she was still judged for her looks.

Today is awesome....☄

She, too, has come a long way and advocates against bullying.

"If you let your value be determined by what other people think, you’re screwed."
