It's always incredible to see teachers who are truly invested in their students and work to make the classroom a welcoming environment.
Whether they are writing notes to help their students understand their worth, or finding fun ways to get their kids to understand the curriculum, these teacher's deserve a medal for their dedication.
Thomas Bussey, a third-grade teacher at Centennial Academy in Atlanta, proved he's one of these types of commendable teachers through a video he shared on his Facebook page. In the clip, he shows off the special handshakes he has with each of his students — and it's so refreshing to see.
"I have a secret handshake with all of my students. This is the way that I greet them at the door when they arrive in the morning and how we say goodbye at the end of each day," he wrote as the caption.
The heartwarming video received some positive feedback from viewers, including one who said, "You are a magnificent teacher and I wish my kids were in your class. I'm just anticipating the day you tell the world you have won teacher of the year then of course principal of the year."
