Young Dad Totally Breaks Down On ‘The Voice,’ Then Adam Levine Gets Up And Gives Him His Chair

It takes a lot of guts for anyone to stand up on stage and sing their heart out while facing the back of the judges' chairs on The Voice, hoping against hope to see at least one of those faces turn toward them.

So, it makes sense that plenty of contestants on the show and other talent competitions have let their emotions get the best of them from time to time.

Both of the talented young men in the video below know just how much is riding on their blind audition. The first singer, Jack Cassidy, reveals that he's following in his family's footsteps — his grandmother being none other than The Partridge Family matriarch, Shirley Jones.

Of course she couldn't help but beam with pride when she found out he'd be joining Alicia Keys' team following his performance of Joan Osborne's "One Of Us."

The other singer, however, had enough emotions flowing through him on his own to fill the entire auditorium. Malik Davage, a young father from Washington, D.C., was so overcome by Adam Levine turning his chair after his soulful rendition of "Sure Thing" by Miguel that he burst into tears right there on stage.

So, Adam decides to have Malik take a load off in his own chair, going so far as to tell him he should put his feet up! The other judges are clearly stunned and delighted as he makes his way over to sit down.

Take a look to see the moment his precious baby girl joins him on stage, and let us know in the comments if you shed a tear or two as well!

And don't forget to SHARE these talented young men with your friends and family!
